Representatives of AmCham Guyana celebrated International Women’s Day 2023 with the Women’s Chamber of Commerce And Industry Guyana at their 3rd Annual Women and Girls Summit.
This year’s International Women’s Day campaign focused on #EmbraceEquity, which emphasized the need for individuals, organizations, and societies to prioritize fairness, justice, and inclusivity for all. This theme is an important reminder that despite progress, discrimination and inequality still exist, and there must be continuous work actively to address them.
The event was held under the theme “Sip the T.E.A” and explored the power of Technology, Empowerment and Advocacy and how they can contribute towards the aim of #EmbracingEquity and enhancing the advancement of women and girls in Guyana.
