Guyana is known for its mineral wealth. Our country is one of South America’s major mineral producers and exporters with dominance in the gold, bauxite and diamond realm. However, there are a plethora of other minerals that are produced such as semi-precious stones, iron, sand, copper, etc. Within the last five years, Guyana has added Oil & Gas to its portfolio and is set to become one of the world’s largest oil-producing nations.
