Sector: Importation Distribution and Retailing

The Retail Distribution & manufacturing sector contributes to over 8% of Guyana’s GDP (2021) and with the emergence of the Oil & Gas sector, there will be an increased influx of investments into the country’s economy that many local companies will capitalize on to expand their operations. Additionally, many foreign companies are venturing into Guyana to expand their operations in this sector.

Currently, Guyana’s Manufacturing & Retail Distribution sector has expanded to producing construction materials, clothing, toys, etc on a small to medium scale. It continues to grow and diversify.
