The Energy Sub-Committee of AmCham Guyana hosted “Energy Exchange: An AmCham Guyana Energy Mixer” at the Guyana Marriott Hotel, acting as a catalyst for networking and collaboration in the energy sector.
The event brought together AmCham Guyana’s membership, industry leaders and key stakeholders within Guyana’s energy sector, providing a platform for discussions, information exchange, and networking. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to participate in insightful conversations, make valuable connections, and share their experiences and knowledge in a relaxed and collaborative environment.
Both the Hon. Prime Minister Mark Phillips and Hon. Minister Deodat Indar complimented AmCham Guyana for hosting the event and noted that the mixer provided an important platform to accelerate the diversification of Guyana’s energy sector. Mr. Shyam Nokta, Chair of AmCham Guyana’s Energy Sub-Committee, and Mr. Devindra Kissoon, President of AmCham Guyana, noted that the first-of-its-kind event provided an invaluable platform for energy leaders to exchange ideas and allow persons to meet in a non-business setting.
